Privacy Policy

When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We do not store the image or its contents on our servers. Anthropic may retain data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.

We set two small cookies to manage usage limits. These do not contain personal information and are not used for tracking or advertising.

We use two HttpOnly cookies:

• tab_device — a random identifier to recognise your device across visits. Expires after 1 year.
• tab_limit — a signed counter used to enforce the daily scan limit. Expires after 2 days.

These cookies are strictly functional. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Receipt images are used solely to extract line items, tax, and tip for the purpose of splitting the bill. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose.

TabSlicer uses the Anthropic API to analyse receipt images. By using this service you also agree to Anthropic's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We do not store receipt images or extracted data. Cookie data is stored only in your browser and expires automatically.

Since we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to request deletion of. You can remove all local data by clearing your browser cookies.
